My third project was, in my opinion, the most creatively challenging so far. My mission: go to 3rd Street Promenade, at night, pick a specific theme, and shoot. It’s hard to shoot at the Promenade bc you can’t go in the stores, shooting windows and displays produces glare, the people there don’t really want to be bothered with, and subject availability was limited. It took me 3 or 4 visits to get everything.
Anyway, my theme, if you couldn’t tell was bright, neon, or colorful lighting.
and I choose to stay fallen in love

My 2nd photo assignment consisted of taking portrait shots of people within their environment. All of my subjects presented to you here are people I encountered strolling through the streets of LA. Surprisingly enough, everyone was very easy about me taking their photo, so much thanks to them. And much thanks to everyone else who let me shoot them in the past week.
Enjoy!

My first Photography assignment was to choose an inanimate subject and take as many different and creative angle shots. After studying many different subjects, I decided to go with this classic beauty of a car. Ren was very pleased with the results, and thanked me for the free photo shoot. Here’s just a few of my favorite shots. Available light only, no flash, no photoshop, no cropping, all manual (shutter speed, aperture, and ISO). What you see is what I saw. Since I’m very beginner at this, please try your best to enjoy! It’s a craft in progress =)
